Lyn Aire Motel Lake George

We were so happy to find this motel for last weekend. It's family owned. Newly refurbished. Very clean. It has a nice pool, outdoor game room, a small playground and gas BBQ if you need it. It's not directly in Lake George but nearby. It also has seating in the front and a seating on the deck in the back. I would bring a small tea kettle if you drink tea or decaf. They have reg coffee in the lobby.

I could write a book of positive things. I showed up unannounced coming from a different motel that was awful, looking for a room at the last minute and receptionist & owner made sure to get me right in and get me a room immediately even tho they had limited availability. Still good people in the world! Clean, beds are comfy, pool is nice, grounds are nice. All in all good experience. And the receptionist dealt with my emotional roller-coaster like a champ!

My family stayed for two nights labor day weekend. First impression was great- property manager was very friendly and the grounds were clean. They are doing some type of construction at the time but it was still neat and orderly in the other areas. The pavilion with air hockey, ping pong and foosball were a nice touch. There are grills scattered about the propery for use which is always nice to have that option of grilling some steaks or burgers.There was also a playground for the kids and a couple basketball ball hoops. Our room was spacious. The kids enjoyed playing all the games and sliding on the slide in the heated pool. Location is just close enough to the hustle and bustle but far enough away to have a nice relaxing family atmosphere. Some rooms are larger than others but have smaller shared decks. Somethings could use updating and a fire pit would be a great addition! I'm sure there is liability with that though.. anyway we would definitely stay there again!

This was an absolute great stay. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The family enjoyed the pool and the front desk service was always available and helpful. The overall cost was very reasonable considering the location. We will definitely return and would recommend this stay.

The rooms are immaculate, beds are extremely comfy and the staff are super sweet. There is a really nice refreshing pool and playground that my girls really enjoyed. We will be coming back for sure.

Great Service! Cozy place. Couldn't have been happier, we booked last minute and we were pleasantly surprised with how clean and well maintained the rooms were. We also had to check out earlier than expected since my cat got sick. They were very accommodating and kind about it. They also recommended some places in town to eat, which we were extremely happy at each place. It was hospitality at it's best. It wasn't too fancy and it didn't break the budget so we were able to spend a little extra elsewhere. We had zero issues with the room. We could also see them cleaning the pool every day from the window, which was comforting, it was a nice little one with a small waterside. The Motel is right near the bike path and is in close walking distance to a trolly stop for Lake George Village, sometimes it would even stop at the front mailbox. They use real keys and not cards to get into your room and we were able to get one key for each of us (2).

Stayed here last weekend, and it was very nice! Some things are either altered, or completely unavailable at the moment due to covid-19, but that's to be expected. My room was very nice, and cozy. The pool was refreshing! This motel also offers a pavilion/picnic area, as well as a playground for kids. Good location as well. Only a couple of miles drive from the main village of Lake George, and also very close to other local attractions such as The Great Escape! A tad bit on the pricey side, but the staff are very friendly, and the overall amenities make it worth it in my opinion! Note: there is no actual land line phone in the rooms (or at least there wasn't in my room). So if you need to get a hold of the front desk, you'll have to either call on your own mobile phone, or physically walk over there.

We very much enjoyed our stay! The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the manager (possibly owner) went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful stay. Our room was very clean, it smelled fresh and clean as soon as we entered! I love the king size and queen size deluxe room option it's perfect to fit a family of 5. The pool was so clean and the whole family had so much fun in it! The kids loved the water slide! The playground is a nice feature and so is the pavilion that has games to keep the kids busy. I would absolutely stay here again and I recommend it if you're looking for a reasonably priced & clean place to stay that is close to everything!
